James Schneider: co-founder of Momentum and Corbyn's PR advisor is one of Your Party co-founders:

"...a senior aide to Corbyn when he was Labour’s leader, continues to shape the debate around Labour’s largely manufactured anti-Semitism crisis.

"Back in 2016, Schneider approvingly shared an article by Open Democracy editor Adam Ramsay, encouraging “everyone who has any interest in Labour, anti-Semitism, and attacks on Corbyn” to read.

The article claimed that “sometimes, criticism of the state of Israel, by using terms like ‘Zionist’ as a dog-whistle proxy for ‘Jew,’ can be anti-Semitic or perpetuate anti-Semitic ideas."

So he's one of the bullshitters who pushed the stuff that snookered Corbyn...he never fucking learns. Schneider is also married to Sophie Nazemi: head of press and broadcast for Starmer.

The party statement seems quite explicit:

“Meanwhile millions of people are horrified by the government’s shameful complicity in genocide. We believe in the radical idea that all human life has equal value. That’s why we defend the right to protest for Palestine. That is why we demand an end to all arms sales for Israel. And that is why we will continue campaigning for the only path to peace: A free and independent Palestine”.

The above statement doesn’t directly contradict Mark’s suggestion that Israel will be pro-Israel, and the highly privileged Schneider, president of LibDems at Oxford, seems a huge flaw:

but with many founding muslim councillors and MPs, being pro-Israel would seem a pretty big climb down.
