The zionazis were all over all of the central american dictatorships via various "training" companies; one of the main culprits was called "Spearhead" which happens to be an English translation of "Kidon" which is the Mossad version of the SAS (sort of).
I seem to recall Alexander Cockburn covered a lot of this in "Dangerous Liason" (I think it was this book) which is an excellent book on the apartheid state and the US. There's a LOT more to it than I mentioned and is covered in the interview above though.
Guatemala was horrendous (the Kabiles were, and probably stil are, murderous maniacs) but it was another case of the coroporate media turning a blind eye. Jennifer (and Chris) are both seriously courageous, putting their life on the line, in Chris' case to get the story. Can you imagine some of the podcasters creeping around the jungle at night with helicopters and death squads seeking them out just to report on something that wasn't a bit story? Hah!The corporate media are complicit in the Gaza genocide. Never forget what they did. Never forgive them for it.
Re: References to Vietnam and Gaza .. then the direct involvement of IOF ..

An absolutely excellent comment if I have ever seen one Rask. Bravo!
If I may interject here with Cockburn's If I had a launcher .. My memory of the period and personal sentiment etc.
[Verse 1] Here comes the helicopter Second time today Everybody scatters And hopes it goes away How many kids they've murdered Only God can say, hey
[Chorus] If I had a rocket launcher If I had a rocket launcher If I had a rocket launcher I'd make somebody pay
[Verse 2] I don't believe in guarded borders And I don't believe in hate I don't believe in generals Or their stinking torture states And when I talk with the survivors Of things too sickening to relate
[Chorus] If I had a rocket launcher If I had a rocket launcher If I had a rocket launcher I would retaliate
[Verse 3] On the Rio Lacantún One hundred thousand wait To fall down from starvation Or some less humane fate Cry for Guatemala With a corpse in every gate
[Chorus] If I had a rocket launcher If I had a rocket launcher If I had a rocket launcher I would not hesitate
[Verse 4] I wanna raise every voice At least I've got to try Every time I think about it Water rises to my eyes Situation desperate Echoes of the victims cry
[Chorus] If I had a rocket launcher If I had a rocket launcher If I had a rocket launcher Some son of a bitch would die
The gruesome reality: Really necessary listening, many thanks. Nm
