It's astonishing the world-wide outrage at this piracy and the lack of coverage from the corporate media. Just another thing to be tucked away for the one day when they start trying to claim they were "always against this".

The usual thought experiment; imagine Iran doing what the apartheid state did, in the Straits of Hormuz for example....

The corporate media are complicit in the Gaza genocide.

I seem to remember the great and the good shouting about an "act of war", when the Iranians held Mr Bean and his mates for a few days after their ship strayed into Iranian territorial waters.
In the end I think they got released with new suits as an easter gift and had been very well treated!
That was in the days of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad who the msm absolutely hated and tried to stitch him up with the oft repeated lie that he said "Israel should be wiped off the map".
I remember that fucking scumbag Aaronovitch telling that lie on numerous occasions.

Quite, another thing to shove in their faces the next time they complain about Somali pirates or somesuch. Not that they'll pay the slightest bit of attention of course - the whole industry is sociopathy manifest.
