Interesting about that voting for Irish president overwhelmingly went for against the EU dictate. Perhaps a Pyrrhic victory but indicative etc.

My head is spinning : ). What is the %-ge ot total? It also must be something along with your usual 'reject voting' and thus dissent (eyes roll).

Assuming that 200K no-vote is a 'red herring' giz another amusing factoid to dissuade me. Ta.

It was on Ceefax; I don't know if the election was democratic but there is mention of 'first preference' votes which I infer to mean it was STV.
