but they really do seem to come along right when certain parties benefit the most from them and some of those parties are super busy amping everyone up on social media to hate immigrants, multiculturalism and god knows what else because they have decided "they" are responsible with no evidence at all.
The corporate media are complicit in the Gaza genocide. Never forget what they did. Never forgive them for it.

Yes, you have to wonder at the timing of these things. But even if there's nothing suspect, the media reaction and coverage will still do the job of stirring up fear and hate.
By comparison, here's the only two BBC articles I can find from the Indian restaurant petrol attack in August, both filed under England > Local News > London.
You wouldn't know from the headlines that the boy is charged with 6 counts of attempted murder, that one victim suffered 58 burns and another was left in a coma. There was certainly no BBC 'Live' page giving up to the minute accounts of it all.

The other week, Chris Hedges swatted an Australian criminal by pointing out that the headlines are remembered not the retraction a couple of days later. Years ago, someone looked up reports on crimes of violence and how many report the verdict of trials and hardly any did, the violence was what mattered, not the consequences.
