I've been listening to some YouTube interviews he did with Sachs, Diesen, etc. His accent is real tough to understand but the gist of it is that the war was avoidable, that Ukraine should have stayed neutral, not sought to join NATO but joined EU instead. Also, how the "West" wanted this war and blocked the Israeli Prime Minister Bennett's peace efforts (he quotes Bennett in his latest book) and how the Maidan massacre was carried out by Ukraine's far right with the possible instigation of the West in order to get rid of Yanukovich. Also, that Ukraine hasn't a chance in hell against Russia and never had. That it's basically a pawn. That Zelensky is very much part of the problem. He is under no illusions about the Western media and is very annoyed at them for not reporting this stuff. A lot of his thinking is conventional mainstream - stuff which may have upset 't': The Russian invasion and annexation of Crimea and the Donbass were illegal (Mate, Chomsky, Sachs n Mearsheimer think the same). There was no genocide in the Donbass. And there was not even a threat to the Donbass from Kiev. The latter is absurd. Nor is the Kiev government 'nazi', though the Azov battalion is 'Nazi-led'. So, plenty of stuff to like and other stuff to take umbrage at. That's a hodgepodge from his videos n writings. Incidentally, I made up the stuff about Ritter in my post to t. . I doubt Ritter has ever even heard of Katchanovski, never mind having "had drinks at the Katchanovski family home"! Though, knowing Ritter, you never know - he likes his celebrities. I chose Ritter coz t is such a huge unquestioning fan of Ritter. Don't tell t!
