doesn't matter how useless or how unpopular she is. What matters is that she commands extensive coverage on television, thus crowding out decent commentators and people who actually have a clue.

Clinton is typical of every one of the commentators in the lame stream: she's there to do a job, and that job is to chunter on, endlessly.

The alternative to her, and to Michelle Obama's evil speechwriter, and to all those well trained Pentagon and intelligence spokespeople, is to allow the likes of Glenn Greenwald and Medea Benjamin and Jasper Nathaniel to speak.

Sounds plausible, but the angle I was looking at was that she will not run again imo. Perhaps a naive question, but how will they pay her if there is no campaign for her election. I guess corruption could intervene. Still ..
