As far as I read it, GG has not yet withdrawn his party from the race. However he is sure to do so. By all accounts Polanski has aready captured the muslim gorton vote. The BWP wd suffer a humliating defeat while splitting the anti Starmer vote.
Galloway has expressed a general contempt for Polanski, whom lifeboaters must therefore regard as another fake left. Galloway has said of Mamdani that he puts him in mind of Neil Kinnock. That will be proof enough for Lifeboaters that Mamdani is just another fake leftist. But Galloways PR problem with Polansky is to to on treating him with unspe
cified scorn while tacitly conceding that the bookies favourite might be a lesser evil.

Crickey George, I never knew that's what I must think...cos Gorgeous George doesn't like him ..and here's me already dismissed the man too as not serious merely because of his "non-negotiable" support for men's frilly-knicker wearing "passport rights" to use the ladies loo aka "#NoLGBwithouttheT".
That's the thing about the Greens: you just never know if their zealous priorities are the gender wars as here in Scotland and now Zack too, or a 360° real war as with Annalina Baerbock when they get even closer to government: neither have much to do with being "Green" so I presume they will say anything old thing to gain power and do nothing but the same old when they have it.
On Mamdani

Zohran Mamdani has just said he will keep fanatical Zionist maniac Jessica Tisch as police comissioner. Tisch works with the ADL to crack down on anti-genocide protests and smears them as evil terrorist anti-Semites. She also praised the brutal police assault on Columbia students
at his meeting with Trump just now Zohran Mamdani was asked about the anti-genocide protest at the Zionist synagogue recruiting settlers to illegally settle Palestinian lands. In response Zohran said he "cares very deeply about Jewish safety" and "hopes to root out anti-Semitism across every borough in New York".
So he is already smearing anti-genocide protesters as rabid anti-Semites and vowing to crack down on them with his beloved genocidal Zionist Likudnik police commissioner Jessica Tisch, who Trump also praised and said was a family friend of theirs, because of course she is.

Mamdani folds quickly after initially showing a little spine, calling the presidents of Venezuela and Cuba, dictators.
The hosts pressed him on whether he believed Cuba's Miguel Díaz-Canel or Venezuela's Nicolás Maduro were dictators. In the moment, Zohran gave a cautious answer but declined to use the word "dictator." However, within a few days of the interview, no doubt in anticipation of the manufactured outrage that would surely follow, his campaign released a clarifying statement asserting that both leaders are dictators:
"I want to be clear on where I stand. I believe both Nicolas Maduro and Miguel Diaz-Canel are dictators. Their administrations have stifled free and fair elections, jailed political opponents, and suppressed the free and fair press. And yet, our federal government's long history of punitive policies toward both countries, including extrajudicial killings of Venezuelans and the continuation of a decades-long blockade of Cuba, have only worsened these conditions. Democratic socialism is about dignity, justice and accountability. And above all, it's about building a democracy that works for working people, not one that preys on them."

I think George is sceptical of Mamdani because he has been there before with his support for Obomer back in the day. He got his beard singed with that one and he knows it...fool me once etc. I think George is right about Mamdani, anyway, and this Tisch creature being kept on says a hell of a lot!"I won't dignify the attacker's words by repeating them, they are horrific and vile."

"Galloway has expressed a general contempt for Polanski,
Well, GG is a social conservative and doesn't take climate change seriously.
He's also probably pissed that the Greens are getting much of the Muslim vote.
It's not like the Greens will in government anytime soon.
What gets me about the Greens is their naivete, their seeming lack of understanding of the forces they are taking on.
Still, if they can help to put a nail in the coffin of the Labour Party.....

Mamdami did not run on a promise to defund the police, as galloway seems to think. He ran on a promise to freeze rents, free infant health care, and to continue the downward crime rate achieved by Tisch. These are the important promises that he has made to the New York working class, who will punish him when he betrays them but not before. As to antisemitism, mamdani has boldly challenged the IHRA definition of that exaggerate scourge, so we must wait to see what he has in mind in his war against it
Mamdani reminds Gallowaf someone. Polanski reminds someone else of someone else. Let us hope Galloway bravely stands to protect Gorton from such associations - and to save the working class from the middle class madness of net zero.
