I've just started the book that she refers to, would recommend, although not an easy read (Every Moment Is a Life: Gaza in the Time of Genocide )

That she seeks to educate Mamdani, and also compliments him on the good things he's done, is more powerful then any anger she could have expressed.

I thought this part on racism being one directional was very well put:

She is not one to sway at all. They can throw all the anti-semitism hasbara bullshit they want at her; she will smash them. Plus she's a very good writer and speaker so she will not only refute their "arguments", she will do so in a manner that moves people and makes them listen and understand.

I found a YouTube version of her video, and used a free YouTube ai transcription tool to get the text. I did check it for errors and made minor corrections though, as I'd just watched the video. These tools aren't completely accurate.

You're right Mark it doesn't allow copying, I hadn't checked that. You can copy if you view YouTube in a browser on your phone, instead of the app.

What Mamdani said about Susan Abulhawa makes me puke.

I know what she said there was very calm and lenient towards him but it was also a masterclass in how to give both barrels.
