.. it was Thames Television that famously published the investigative documentary "Death on the Rock" regarding the IRA involvement and subsequent shootings in Gibraltar .. dated 1988.

There is nothing to argue here. Just change the date to 1988.

...a docu series being advertised on the telly about painting birds and saw him in it, I kept waiting until the real bird artist, Jim Moir, to come on...cursing another programme taken over by bloody celebs.
About three quarters of the way through I realised Viv was actually Jim Moir...and not a bad bird artist at all, to his credit...actually very good.
Have been watching the series ever since and thoroughly enjoying it and Jim is a great presenter of it!
