Akrotiri was 'hit with an Iranian-made drone' apparently. Reminds me of the formulation 'Novichok, of a kind made in Russia'. At least if they're going to lie to our faces could they not be so weaselly about it? (With apologies to weasels.)

Interesting that, for the BBC, the UK hasn't faced any accusations of responding too quickly - or that some unpatriotic contrarians have suggested that the UK shouldn't have responded at all, or even aided the opposite side? Unthinkable, apparently...
