Dunno what it is about these folk with "Portfolios"...the jargon is hard enough to follow: you know the dude is at least trying to suss out what's going on (-and take advantage of it of course) and maybe it's informative, but to the "unportfolio'd" It always sounds like the world economy is the 10:40 at Ascot and the debate is about whether this new three year old filly of choice is good on the soft in the likelihood of rain that day.
Anyone involved in these financial shenanigans has enough money to see them right whatever happens. It's a sport: maybe a bloodsport, but the bottom line is that it's not their blood so its all just an abstraction.
Was watching Starmers the other day. According to him it's so terrible that the middle classes may apparently have to take fewer holidays a year.
