They are not disturbed that "British" people went to fight in a foreign army that is committing genocide and so these people may be war criminals. No. They are upset that someone signed a letter asking that they be investigated. These people are above all laws, don't you know?
One particular twitter thread I saw was Sara Vine asking rhetorically, "Does he want them to wear yellow stars too?" and she got absolutely savaged in the replies. Nobody is buying it.
