‼️ Prominent Russian presidential aide Nikolai Patrushev claims London and Brussels are entertaining fantasies of blockading Russian shipping in the Baltic Sea.
The delusional powers that be in Europe have lost their tiny minds.
[...]
It should be clearly understood that a blockade of the Russian Baltic ports and/or the Danish straits would constitute a declaration of war against Russia.
It's utter madness.

Patrushev: London and Brussels are working on plans to blockade the Baltic Sea

London and Brussels are working on plans to blockade the Baltic Sea and the straits leading into it. This was announced on October 12 by Russian Presidential aide Nikolai Patrushev during talks with Chinese Transport Minister Liu Wei in China.
"Western countries are trying to intercept our ships in the English Channel. London and Brussels are working on plans to blockade the Baltic Sea and the straits leading into it," he said.
Patrushev noted that the risks for international sea routes are growing in other regions as well. In particular, the Strait of Hormuz, according to the Russian presidential aide, has turned into a war zone, and the Bab el-Mandeb Strait and the eastern approaches to the Suez Canal are under pressure from the Houthis.
As an alternative to traditional routes, Russia is forming the Transarctic Transport Corridor. It will combine sea and river routes, ports, railways and highways for the transportation of domestic, international and transit cargo.
On October 7, Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsakhna said that NATO allegedly has the capabilities to rapidly strengthen its grouping in the Baltic region and potentially restrict Russian shipping in the Gulf of Finland. He also noted that the restriction of shipping in this area could negatively affect not only Russia's military capabilities, but also its exports
