I am unclear as to how you have established that Malcolm Smith/Peter Moore will personally benefit financially from current and proposed activities. Both AM and FM stations are community radio stations and, of course, the Ross Revenge project is now a registered charity.
You are implying that all of his activities are for his personal financial benefit, but have produced no evidence to support your allegations.
By the way, have you seen the photos regarding the planned new visitor centre on board the Ross? That doesn't seem to be the way forward for someone intent on establishing themselves in the world of mass communications, which he has previously declared that he is not.

You should be asking what it is that whoever is in control of the Radio Caroline company is trying to achieve.
The first question is in answer to your question: "What is the business plan of the company?
Originally even registration of the name was a matter of contention, and then, when it was registered it was registered by using a fake identity.
The web site linked to the company originally claimed that it was founded to continue the work of Ronan O'Rahilly, but now Malcolm Smith who persists in calling himself Peter Moore for business and not artistic reasons, has denounced O'Rahilly as a cheat, liar and con man.
Paul Rusling wrote a book that he calls a 'bible' to push the O'Rahilly link from 199 to 648, but now, Smith has jerked that rug from underneath him.
Smith has also denounced half the anoraks on the Garry Stevens Board and left those on the Dave Martin Board very perplexed.
What is Smith's business plan?
The hulk called 'Ross Revenge' that was the product of theft and a criminal court case in the USA, has now been hived-off by Smith to a charity. Given present economic downturns that are going to get much worse, that hulk is a liability and not an asset.
So, what about the AM 648 station? Well, it is a relic of the rapidly dying AM past, but it got Malcolm Smith's business plan off the ground. For any entrepreneur that is a difficult thing to do.
But the next phase is just as difficult. A new business started from scratch has to pass into a managerial phase, and that is often more difficult than the first phase.
So, the next move by Smith was to move into FM and only partially use the Caroline name. At some point in time the name of the company may change and drop the Caroline name altogether. Same with the FM station.
To do that Smith has to cut free from the anoraks and create a genuine income stream. This is what he appears to be working on doing.
Malcolm Smith is a long way from making money from his venture, but he is off and running.
Will Malcolm Smith succeed?
Only time will tell.
If he does the Ross Revenge will probably have become scrap metal and a lot more anoraks will be dead. The young anoraks will be left with their own daydreams wondering what happened.
That is why we are spelling out what is likely to happen.

This is pure speculation on your part, without any evidence. I think you should make that clear and that it is only your personal opinion. Did you see the photos of PM working on the Ross, clearing the way for the proposed new visitor centre, assisted by the volunteers.
I imagine that those closer to him have more idea as to future plans and that you have not.

David, you are clearly not in possession of all the facts. You are clearly not willing to admit that the person you call "PM" does not exist.
Malcolm Smith has openly severed all pretense in the game of trying to link what he is doing to Ronan O'Rahilly, who he has now denounced as a liar, a cheat and a con man - more than once!
Nor are you willing to admit that two forums of anoraks now exist that hurl abuse at each other.
Malcolm is no fool and Malcolm is no anorak.
Malcolm does not believe in fairy tales.
Malcolm is a small businessman with a business plan, and he wants to grow HIS business.
Since anoraks have a reputation of stealing from other people Malcolm does not see any problem in getting you (for instance), to pay for his business venture.
Dream on, David, dream on, but you will live to regret it.

OK then, what facts do you have to support your contentions that Malcolm Smith is only concerned with providing an income stream for himself? What is his business plan? Have you seen it?
In the absence of any ceditable evidence we can assume that it is all pure speculation on your part. Why does no-one else come forward and agree with you, I wonder.
I'm not arguing for the sake of it, but if you are intent on commiting your thoughts to print, then you must surely be able to back them up. Perhaps you have a source inside the team, or have been privy to certain information not in the public domain, but in the absence of any evidence you must understand that your hypotheses will be dismissed as purely conjecture.
As for Malcolm' supposed admission as to the vagaries of Ronan O'Rahilly, this is nothing new and my feeling is that you are making something out of nothing here.

David, if you are not aware of current world conditions and the energy crisis that is turning into a catastrophe, then you are free to dream on. No one of consequence is going to financially support a rust bucket hulk with no connection to the Sixties or to anything else except a criminal case in the USA.
Without the O'Rahilly lies, deceit and fraud, there would not be a Ross Revenge to begin with. So, what did O'Rahilly do? He stayed away from that criminal case!
Malcolm is separating himself from the hulk. You and your pals will never be able to afford to restore that ship, but why would you want to? You cannot tell its history without telling everyone what happened in Philadelphia.
Malcolm is making his views and his future plans quite plain, and the history of AM has already begun to sound the bell of its final chapter. It is a dying medium and FM won't be far behind it.
What we know about Malcolm and his plans we will not divulge here to you.
It is your life and your mistake.
Believe what you will, but just a final word of warning, reality is not a part of your present life.
