KDSS. Brooks College and the dorms on that land were owned by LBsU in the late 60's and early 70's. The Univ sold the property and Brooks College was formed. They completely remodeled Las Palmas Hall, turning it into classrooms. The other buildings were housing for their students. I believe the school became broke. LBSU then purchased the property and determined it would be too expensive to remodel the classrooms back to dorms and then leveled the building. The other remaining buildings have since been used as off campus dorms.
