The yard is getting neater. And the yard is definately quiter then it has ever been. Charlie may bark once or twice but not seeing the neighbors, or the Mama dog is great. He does hear the puppies.
Sad news one of the puppies died due to lack of water. I have no additional comment to make.
We have had some horrid 105 days... it hits late afternoon and is a killer. My UPS guys have both had trouble with the heat. The one that gives Charlie treats had to stop work for 2 days he was so sick. I think I mentioned that he will be leaving UPS at the end of this December.
He's a big guy like my son and they both have the same name. He is very concerned, as we all are, that the heat may continue. Prayers that this coming weekend is the last of the worse heat.
I was overcome when I worked on the last two panels of the fence. I still have a panel to go but can't decide where to put it.
Boy & I both think putting it on the other side of the yard West - where there is a section of chain link that is totalled. I have stuck stuff in the open areas to keep Charlie from going through them.
I could actually put some smaller Green fencing that is pretty heafty along that section instead of using the last of the 4 panels.
I do want to cut down one of the bamboo sections to split in half to use on the driveway gates.
The bamboo is wider and taller then the gate panels. I will have to cut the top off the bamboo I place on the gates. I could actually fold each bamboo section in half to provide more privacy. I think that would work better then using half of one bamboo or both sides.
Which would leave 1 whole bamboo panel that could be used to extend the area and provide privacy on a section of the fence that would cover a few smaller windows in the neighbors house. That area has the original 4 panels extending along that fence but ends before I could block the view of their 4 smaller windows. Hope that made sense. 8-)
Then I could use the green wire 2 or 3 feet high wire to cover the holes in the chainlink along A's back pature. I did have a Guhnie Hen jump that fence..sorry spelling is wrong--- plus that would look much better.
OK I have things todo. I fixed 2 chicken breast and cooked them in a bit of butter and a bit of Olive Oil then cover the breasts with herbs. Pretty darn good. I had the small one for lunch.
Well, sun is going down, need to walk Charlie then head in for the night. Have a good one.
