As well, quality qb's rarely came available in free agency or in the trade market.
It's all changed in the past 3ish years. Maybe it began just prior to COVID. But it's changed the answer to your question. Where once, you held on to your QB until his arm fell off. The league seems to now be more fluid. Making the answer -yes-. It's easier to move on.
