What it was tho, is what I been whining about. The leagues are using officiating to hold games close. At best it was a tricky tack call.
At worst- it's the latest hit button talk around here. "Cheating". & I'll say it again. When it becomes obvious the leagues directive is to "bend the rules". Imo- that opens up coaches & players to disregard "sportsmanship" & cheat at any aspect available.
Off topic slightly- Jim Harbaugh began pushing the NCAA last year. Pushing players to stand up to the ncaa to broaden the scope of paying college players.
Ironically? Harbaugh gets investigated twice in the past year.
Harbaugh, draws attention to player exploitation in a multi billion dollar NCAA that creates rules as they go to minimize the sharing of the pie.
Fairness? Ha. That's a giant joke.
It's all rather disturbing despite it hiding in plain view. Guarded with incredulous denial anytime it's brought up.
