The expected win total of the vikings in 2024.
Set at 6.5 by vegas. Means the 2,3&4 they traded away are similar to late 1,2 & 3.
Not quite a collection of 4-7 picks.
I understand the cap space.
History suggests you dont become a top team using free agency to create the core of your team. As the ucing on a well baked cake? Sure. Add 1 or 2 best in class stud free agents to an otherwise talented team. Its a somewhat proven winner.
I think they gave up too much for turner. We will know down the road.
The picks given up for McCarthy. Meh- there wasnt that much left in round 4 & 5. A couple of wr's with a chance to beat out brandon poweel as #3.
A couple te's, a handful of pretty good Guards/ centers that didnt fit to zone scheme.
Its that Fleecy Kwesi didnt need to make the trade. The point value used to move up from to 17 a 200 point differential, was double/ near double. Even the initial trade up to 23, using the pair of seconds. 23= 760pts. 2-2's = 900-1100 pts depending on viking finish.
The players taken. Mmn, ok. I can live with.
The now solidified reputation that kwesi is that sucker born everyday. Imo-Thats cause for alarm.
Who is going to play center & LG on this team.
Who is going to be the TE the first 8-10 weeks?
Who is going to be the wr when JJ misses camp, winds up injured. Who are the down linemen, protecting the light in the arse line backers so they can run free & make plays. Where are the press corners?
They come in FA next year? Either at an inflated price or the 2/3rd tier types they overpaid this year.
Depth is sketchy to say the least. & There will be very little help in the 25 draft. A year they draft highest in decades.
Lol- its all good. Its looking like a #1 or 2 draft slot for 2026.
2025 draft will be top heavy with linemen.
