Was wandering if any boardies have any tricks that they could share for catching RED COD, as I just love catching these fine table fish. I realise that Wellington is the best place to catch them, being the RED COD capital of NZ and all. But I live in the Hawkes Bay and don't have time to travel all the way to Wellington to get my RED COD fix. I have heard that they do get caught on the beaches of Hawkes Bay but am yet to latch on to one. So any help would be much appreciated.
