Thanks for the tips! I can not afford to travel to the north island this trip. We are staying in Queenstown for one week and traveling around the country for the second week. I will follow your advice about the rivers and perhaps try my luck on a beach or two. I would perfer to find someone to guide or take me out for a day or two that knows saltwater flyfishing in your area. Please any recomendations are helpful. Thanks, Mike.
