Typo and subsequent Recall! Archived Message

Phill i do believe the Maf had/has labelled in its latest handbook, and for our area CENTRAL, YEM at 35cms not 25cms, NO mistaking with Trumpeter a new addition to the size limit chart. However 2 phone calls later, 2 seperate and puzzled Maf officers later, i believe i have found and have been reassured that an error has occured in the most recent publications of the Maf pamphlets and Handbooks, which are now subject to a RECALL, to ammend and correct, what i was told and Quoted as a Printing F#%KUP!. There is no size limit on Yelloweyed mullet in the central area, so i have been reassured. I only stumbled across this upon recieving the so called and rightly so labelled LATEST edition of the Maf regulations handbook and pamphlets. So those of you who live bait with mullet, or like carving great fillets off of them for a tasty snapper bait, resume your practices. However i urge all who are unfamiliar of the size and subsequent bag limits to obtain a copy of the latest regs, for your referance. As for the Yelloweyed Mullet and herring debate, they are one and the same, and there eyes yellow as there size increases. In the BOP i hear there eyes are very close together.
