A bit dependant on what reels they are. but for most threadlines a light coat of a light grease on the main gears and a drop or two of oil on the bearings will do. By light grease I mean somthing like the penn grease and not a 3 in 1 oil. Bicycle shops also sell some very good lubes like finishline stuff.Thats what I use and it works very well.
