I've been using 20lb Rapala Titanium braid for about 6 months now. I reckon it's great, casts as far as my 6kg nylon with the added bonus of abrasion resistance, important when most of the fishing I'm doing is on steep gravel baches which really rough up your line on a rough day. I'm thinking of dropping down to a lower breaking strain for extra distance. I've never had any knot issues with it although it is a real pain if you tangle someone elses line. The extra feeling you get from the bite and through the fight is awesome. Try some on one of your spools first to see how you find it before jumping in the deep end.
