Off to Papamoa again

Heading off shortly for an evening fish at Papamoa if any of you locals wish to drop by and say gidday will be back at Taylor Road again, hopefully there will be no stung toes this time round lol

Nailed a nice snapper between 30 and 40cm tonight along with small kahawai will post pic tomorrow just about to leave the beach and head home

Papamoa is starting to fire. A number of good snapper are being caught off the beach at the eastern end. Most are being caught right on dark in the evening or at first light in the morning. Surf casters are doing better than the Kontiki boys.

That is good to hear Bob I am planning on having next weekend off to another evening fish at Papamoa I actually caught that snapper at Karewa parade up near my grand fathers old house as I could not find a car park on taylor road or by the boat launching area.

Yes - Most of the fish being caught seem to be at the end of Karewa Parade. Walk along the beach from the last house about 200 m or more
