Nothing wrong with being technical mate.
The interesting thing with the courtesy car situation at this garage is that it tends to bring in the easy profitable type work like servicing/MOTs/Tyres/Clutches and other types of breakdowns.
He has set a lad on to concentrate on the more technical aspects such as diagnostics/electrical repairs as they can now afford better equipment due to the volume.
Managing staff/workload is the tough part for them as the owner is not really from a motor trade background and has other interests.
