Hi. I have heard of people complaining about oil in the servo pipe, but i have never really seen it myself, but i suppose if the pump fails, then oil pressure will pump oil up the pipe, as Lee says check splines on both alt and pump, sometimes you can get away with one or the other, but at the end of the day it is important to get it right as it is part of the braking system, so any wear on either, then fit new. p.s we got one customer that brought us 2 alts and pumps back under warranty, with the splines worn off, I checked the engine oil and it was like sludge, so i told him to change the oil. ( he said it got changed on a regular basis) but it never came back again.
