Maybe among tepid left-liberals who haven't been paying attention. The right wing hate him with a passion and much of the population has been propagandised into thinking he's an antisemitic monster ... who would raise their taxes. I know politics is a dirty business and you can't exclude people for having done sh!tty things in the past (often under duress), but it rankles that so many seem to be able to ignore Corbyn's behaviour when he was actually close to power, and revert to mushy gut-feelings about him being 'nice' or 'principled'. FFS - that was the whole problem: he was 'nice' to the people who stabbed him in the back (or the front, per the revolting Jess Phillips), and he threw away his 'principles' when they became politically inconvenient. So they weren't principles. He hasn't even apologised, not to the people who actually deserve it, so what reason is there to think he won't act in exactly the same way if given a second bite at the cherry? Wheel him out if you have to and let him make speeches at protests, but don't allow him anywhere near a real decision-making role if you know what's good for you. I
