When Dan set the site up he made it clear it was on the basis of him being among peers, and he was very reluctant in the role of authority.
That was then. Now he's banned someone - NOT for the benefit of the board, but because he himself felt insulted; at ONE word.
What's so respectable about that?
The person complained many times about insults and Dan did virtually nothing. On the day in question he had added to the unfair criticism himself, and didn't reply to factual challenges; hence there was provocation.
Why is it OK to ban someone who is being insulted by many people, for one word spoken to the moderator, in reply to further unfair criticism from the moderator?
