What is there to mention? That campaign was a bust. Other than the announcement that the campaign reached (or exceeded) its target, where have you seen anything concrete about the (supposed) $300 Million that was raised? What were the 3 stated pillars of the campaign and how has the money advanced them? Why are those amounts not shown on the required systemwide reports?
The answer is that the campaign was folded quietly and other previously committed funds were folded into the amount raised to paper over that fact.
Imagine believing that that amount of money was raised in a record amount of time without a VP for Development in place for most of it. That's the definition of gullible.
Over $322M. You guys never mention anything like this vbecause it goes against your narrative.
??? Jane just raised about $280 million for the school in record time with her No Barriers initiative!!!
well you are "right" -- she is doing the same as our state government (gavin) putting us in deep debt that soon the voters will have to pay with much higher tax's --
You expertise in higher education, running large budgets, high level constant fund raising, your education, and any other of her large job responsibilities?
A lot of that is her own fault. The very poor decisions she’s made—including the Alumni Association and fundraising in general, the mascot issue and many athletics related decisions, and her lack of PR skills and personal charisma—all over-shadow whatever good she’s done.
In my opinion, Jane does not get enough credit for what she has done for the school. Lots of good stuff goes unnoticed, while a few things that a number of us do not like gets way too much publicity!
Great notice listed below. LBSU is also hard to get into. As much as many on this board do not like Jane, she is the leader of the school and deserves the credit for its ranking. Leadership starts at the top.
