Reason why Hawaii joined BW as for volleyball as well as travel. Volleyball is as big if not bigger than football on the island as they found little to no competition in the MW. Also if I remember that the ladies VBall coach wanted the move to the BW for better competition.
Travel is also an issue in MW as traveling from the islands to Wyoming and Colorado is tough.
