The problem is that if the BW UCs and other BW members get a solid NIL program going they are going to get higher-rated players than those who do not offer an NIL incentive. LB will not be a force in the BW if our NIL is inferior to the other BW schools.
I have worked in education for many decades and 90% of those years I have heard how the current year's budget is going to collapse the system and we will never recover. Is this the year it happens? The repair of the Myd should not come from the LB operating budget. There needs to be state money for repair and reconstruction or a bond to build a new arena.
NIL monies do not go to the men's basketball program. It goes to the players. The LBSU Athletic budget (or lack thereof) is a huge problem.
Also the situation with the pyramid and they can't just keep kicking the can down the road with it. It needs to be seriously addressed soon. If sports end up being moved to the Gold Mine our sports that rely on the pyramid will suffer greatly and so will donations.
