+ Extra Points’ Matt Brown and Action Network’s Brett McMurphy report the Mountain West and Hawaii are in discussions about the Rainbow Warriors becoming full MWC members. Brown adding: “One of the big unanswered questions in these discussions centers around Hawaii's travel subsidy obligations, and whether they can make the math work for everybody. Hawaii pays a travel subsidy in the Big West. As we wrote this month, Hawaii's late night TV slot seen as a potential asset in future league TV deals, not a drawback (thanks gambling!).”
