My read of Bill's post is apparently different than yours, he said, " I do predict this team will be top 3 in the BW in team cohesiveness and effort." In other words, he did not seem to predict a top three finish, but that they would work hard and play together. That may be optimistic too, but, it does not seem unreasonable to me.

I also would say that I think we will not end up 7th (or worse). I like the quality of talent Acker has brought in, and I like his history of developing talent. Realistically, I am not terribly optimistic about winning the BW regular season. other teams have too much of a head start on knowing their system and having a culture. I am bullish on Acker and what he will do over time, but think it will take some time to overtake UCI, UCSB and and others at the top.
