Good post DP. Would the team would have won the BWT had Monson been retained.? We will never know. With the NIL $$$ the same 4 players may have left anyway.
CDM did ok. Made alot of money at LBSU.

I thought that Monson was VARY fairly treated, and got a TON of PUB because his team made the NCAA after he was told that HIS CONTRACT WOULD NOT BE RENEWED FOR THE FOLLOWING SEASON!!! The PRESS made this into a totally different event than what it really was!!! In my opinion, it could have not worked out any better for CDM. NO ONE ever blamed the kids for our lack of bigger success during the CDM years. Time will tell who was right and who was wrong as time passes, but I am very pleased form what I see from Coach Ack and his current team! Previous Message
After the way Monson was treated none of the players were about to stay. The way Monson was let go was not good. They were all insulted. It just plain looked bad.
Now we also have the huge issue on money, mainly the lack thereof.
In the next couple of years the Big West will be a D2 conference.
