Look at the former Los Al QB Malachi Nelson who is going to the portal for the 3rd straight year because he lost the starting QB job at USC and Boise State. He has a Daddy that is looking for the golden ticket with $$$$$. Bottom line is the dude is a decent but not great QB. These coaches will tell these kids anything they want to hear to get them on their team and cut their throats in a heartbeat. College Sports is in a bad way and in a few years as the average fan will say screw it I am tired of all this crap.

I’m sure they are realizing that power 5 make all the promises but if they can find someone that is .1 better than you. They will bench you and not look back. Coaches are under much more pressure than any mid major coach. There’s a reason why lbsu got a lot of bounce backs from power 5. Those players were sold a bag of false hopes and they realized all that glitters isn’t gold. Previous Message

Ask the 4 MBB players that left last year how they are all doing? 2 are hurt for the year and the other 2 are barely playing. Gread will eventually kill college sports. Previous Message
It's all about the $$ today and the belief that the grass is always greener on the other side of the hill. I think in college sports we will see new rosters every year or two. Amateur sports is dead at the college level. Previous Message
I am surprised so many players are in the portal. Good players. If they remain the form the basis for a winning team next season. I do not get it. If they would stay with Natalie last year, why not this season?
I guess they think a few measly dollars are worth the move. They should be thinking of improving their volleyball and educational skills, not a few lousy bucks. AfterI got out of the Army, I attended on the GI bill, which meant U did not have to work, but I did work. It paid off greatly later in my civilian work life. It is still paying me today.
