I am wondering though why she would be interested in making the move, currently SDSU is a better job, it is clearly the flagship of the CSU system right now both athletically and academically.

The current President of San Diego State was a faculty member at Long Beach when Bob Maxson became President. She's very familiar with his style of leadership.
She has done a good job at San Diego so far imo. Unlike Jane, she didn't cave to the pressure from students to change the school mascot, and kept it as the Aztecs. Previous Message
