The article you mention is dated 2023. The new information arose recently when they were in the preconstruction phase. It is my understanding the entire Student Union has been demolished as an entire new facility will now be built. I would expect this will require an amended contract in accordance with the current needs. It would appear there will be a substantial price increase. This will be very problematic for the overall budget for the university.
