I would say there are some nice pieces. Do I see a true impact guy who can carry the team? Not yet.
The two HS signings Washington and Sykes who are actually playing this year are 3 star plus. Dastrup is on a mission, correct?
In today's world, I kind of just assume d1 is equivalent, and if they were here and returning for a year, would we be excited to see them develop with a larger role? In that vein, Majstorovic put up 10+ points at Syracuse. Lewis from Arkansas Little Rock looks like a second rotation guy. Bender kind of seems like a volume guy which I don't excited about. Levillain coming from Europe (and a solid program in top division of France) probably understands the game better than the American guys and has solid size.
Diaz played in one of the best D2 conferences in the nation, and was named 1st team. He was really efficient at scoring inside the arc, and decent from beyond. Somehow at 6-2 he had 26 blocks last year. Maybe I'm rooting too much for him because he is a local product.

On paper the talent we have is BAD. To this point coach has also not proven any quality of a decent HC. Willing to see what happens with a full season. But no one should be expecting more than bottom 3. Previous Message
With what UCSD accomplished last year with their rag tag division 2 transfer players, I would have thought everyone would be excited with our team. This groups has to be better than last year. I am not sure we even won a game in 2025. Let’s wait and see what happens.
