This either enhances the NIL groups now in place or replaces them. At least the school has control over the funds and I believe it is tax deductable where as NIL cooperative money may not be. College athletics today. Previous Message
In the email that did see an anvil with a LB on it.
Other than that not interested as well as others I spoke with as not paying players. Understand this is where we are today in sports but better to spend elsewhere on campus and in the athletic dept.
Also hard to send money to a basketball team that lost 15 in a row. Previous Message
I don't mind it, but I'm so opposed to NIL and its affects on collegiate athletics that I will keep donating to the department or specific team initiatives. Previous Message
Just received this email. On the bright side, it's good to see some initiative in support of the Athletic Department.
On the not so bright side, this lands with a thud, like an anvil. No logo, no effort, no real vision, just some obvious (and meaningless) verbage about things changing.
