Dennis, you are by far the most avid 49er supporter. When you see doom and gloom it is rare. First, I salute your passion and always have. Like you said the problem is not the blame of anyone person but rather lack of money. We just can't compete with the big boys by offering NIL money. I realize that the UC schools like San Diego, Irvine, Santa Barbara and Davis will probably now have a slight advantage in the Big West because they have more prestige and probably a little more money. I predict every time a Big West school gets a very good basketball player that he will be gone the following year because of NIL money. Combine the portal with the money offered and LBSU will almost NEVER have a good basketball program again I feel. Very sad situation for our program but definitely a reality!
