A lack of leadership at the NCAA level is causing a paralysis for many schools in a similar situation to LB. Do they jack fees to attempt to barely compete with the P4 or do they hold fast in anticipation of a sanctioning body resembling one with the old rules, where they can be competitive with their peers?

We should follow suit, and encourage the interim President to overhaul our Athletic Fees, which are currently a patchwork comprised of Beach Pride referendum and IRA (Instructionally Related Activities). This creates a cumbersome process and makes budgeting opaque. Some will object to the transparency because it obfuscates the total amount of fees being charged, but I think that the fees should be consolidated with an increase added.
