It's almost the best lipstick on a pig you can do. With the ceilings/upper walls painted, the new grid system for lighting, and every seat being replaced including the new risers that look way better than the old ones, I think it is perfect for the Big West tournament.

If they could only have painted the walls below and in front of the 3rd level it would almost not have anything resembling the old arena. Maybe that's in the plans as they did paint the aisle concrete closer to the center black, just not the main one below the upper level.

Hang some screens for the tourney, probably use those fancy curtains that they use when they make it a ballroom to cut some of the upper sections off from view.

Or...Henderson??? Lame. Conference probably just wants to mingle with other conferences.

I believe WCC is expired in Vegas after this year anyways, and with no Gonzaga, no biggie. Pac-12 is currently negotiating with the arenas in Vegas. I'd imagine WCC goes to another locale, maybe with UCSD and USD, Oceanside is in the cards.
