This is the new NCAA. It will kill athletics. I watched three games this year, and have zero connection to our players.
You used to be able to root for guys, especially role players who grew into expanded rolls. Think Caffey backup PG to nearly Big West MVP. Brian Freeman holding down the middle against more heralded bigs.
Now, we've been lucky to keep anyone for the past 5 years it seems.

As someone on this Board said earlier, I expect any player who any other team would like to have to transfer and only the players nobody wants to stay. I too thought that would happen and we are on our way. Previous Message
This matters of course. How am I treated matters. Do I get immediately yanked if I mess up? Do I get yelled at all the time? Do I get the playing time that is obvious I should get. That all matters. We don't know the full story about Acker and what his players think about him but I have seen some things from him that aren't endearing.
