The wife has a friend - family friend - that wants the cat. This cat exchange is to be done today. Cat will be indoors only and have a run of the house. They do have a dog but dog is an "outdoors dog" which as a dog owner, I've always had a bit of a problem with. We shall see. The youngest daughter, who wanted to keep the cat at first and tried it for one night (complete failure as I previously posted) will be able to visit her. Frankly, I think giving this cat to this friend is NOT the best case scenario for the cat and more of a way to appease the youngest daughter but that is my hunch - not based on anything I've been told. I'll continue to keep all updated as I know more.
