I had a total knee replacement at the end of July
I didn't even want to take the Oxy because I've had bad reactions in the past to opioid pain killers, but once the post-surgical pain controls wore off, it became necessary. I kept the amounts I took as minimal as I could so the withdrawal symptoms are shocking the heck out of me, but I'm chalking it up to the fact that I'm thinking I'm super-susceptible to the medication (given how badly it's affected me in the past). I'll keep all of this in mind when I go in to get the other knee done at the end of October - learn from experience! I'm glad to hear that you're recovery is going so well. I know the diarrhea is a pain, but honestly, I'm amazed you're able to eat normal food at all this soon! Keep up the good fight!
