I think you made the right decision. I would not have subjected him to eye surgery especially at that age. It probably wouldn't have changed things anyway.

I asked my vet about Buffy, should I remove the tumor?! He said we can't, it would mean basically removing the tongue. Then I asked about radiation. He said its an aggressive cancer and nothing would help. I agreed, I guess I just wanted confirmation. Better they live their last days in peace.
