but I don't recommend "flushing" them because water in the ear canal and crevices can breed bacteria. A tissue or thin washcloth dampened with warm water (squeezed almost dry) works. I like unscented baby wipes, which I cut into fourths, saving the other 3/4 in a zippered plastic bag.
