While it is true Princess was my last link to Deb, I am blessed to be close to her daughter Lizzie and her granddaughters, Emma and Layla. I am kind of a “substitute” Mom, and grandma to the girls. Lizzie and I email all the time (she’s in Ohio and I am in Florida for the winter). I also email with the girls and hear all about school and sports. They are both such good girls. Emma is almost 14 and will be starting high school. She got all A’s at school and is taking college prep classes next year. She wants to be a teacher. Layla is 12 and is “gifted” and is in advanced classes. Debbie was brilliant and seems this intelligence has passed down to Liz, Emma and Layla. I am so proud of them and how well they are doing. So they are pieces of Deb that bring me comfort. Lizzie is so much like Debbie...unselfish, big heart, loving. I’m so happy to have the real Liz back after all the years of her troubles. She beat the demon and is happy and healthy.
